Pastor Tommy joined the ET staff in March, 2002. He and his family moved to Tulsa from Wallace, North Carolina, where he had served as senior pastor since 1994. As Associate Pastor for ET, Pastor Tommy uses his gifts and training in the areas of church growth and revitalization to foster growth of the ministries of ET. His responsibilities include outreach, follow-up, assimilation, evangelism, visitation, adult education and oversight of the Small Group Ministry. He also assists in preaching and leading praise and worship.
Pastor Tommy is a graduate of Emmanuel College School of Christian Ministries in Franklin Springs, Georgia. In May 2002, he earned his Master of Ministry degree from Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma, City, in the area of Church Growth and Revitalization. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, he served on the Conference Evangelism Board of the North Carolina Conference of the IPHC.
Tommy and his wife, Carol, are both originally from North Carolina, where they have ministered together since getting married in July of 1985. They have two beautiful daughters, April and Courtney.
