Pastor Norman Wilkie came to Evangelistic Temple as associate pastor in 1983. Prior to coming to E.T. he had pastored 2 Pentecostal Holiness churches in Fayetteville, Arkansas (1973-1977) and Springfield, Missouri (1977-1983). Norman was appointed Executive pastor in 2000, and became Senior Pastor of Evangelistic Temple in October, 2001.
Norman grew up in Westville, OK, the youngest of eleven children. There his family was actively involved in the local PH church, where his father Clint served as deacon for many years. Norman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, and after moving to Tulsa attended Oral Roberts University seminary, concentrating in christian counseling and marriage and family therapy. Norman serves as a board member for the New Horizons Conference of the IPHC, and also serves on the IPHC stewardship board.
Norman's wife Sherrye is a native of Morrilton, Arkansas. They were married in 1971, and are the parents of Braden and Gina. Norman and Sherrye are the proud grandparents of 3 grandsons: Logan Dale and Lawson Josiah, sons of Braden and Jennifer Wilkie; and Anthony Alexander, son of Greg and Gina Hall. In addition to a very active life as Nana, Sherrye serves alongside Pastor Norman in spiritual counseling and personal prayer for many from the E.T. congregation and beyond. They have literally become Mother and Father in the faith to many youth and married couples over their years of ministry.
