Bob worked as a lay minister in Toronto for many years before coming to Tulsa in 1991 to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. His affiliation with Evangelistic Temple began with an outreach to the troubled 61st and Peoria neighborhood while he was a seminary student at ORU. After he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1997, Bob joined the Evangelistic Temple staff to pioneer our Community Outreach Ministry. He also directs the ET Storehouse Ministry which provides food and clothing to needy families.
Bob and his wife, Sandra, minister to the needs of the growing number of single parent families from our surrounding neighborhoods who have found a church home at Evangelistic Temple. With the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, they conduct a children’s Bible Club, youth and adult Bible studies, and a weekly medical clinic.
In order to serve the needs of single-parent families, Bob often repairs cars, bicycles, and appliances. He also acts as an advocate for people who cannot speak for themselves and tend to get overlooked by the system. Practical ministry produces a spiritual harvest when new families from the neighborhood join our church family at Evangelistic Temple.
